Founded in May 2026, our association brings together local residents, heritage enthusiasts, and volunteers dedicated to preserving and restoring the historical heart of the Gaycre hamlet, the Saint-Martial church, located in the beautiful Tarn valley (commune of Cadix).

Our Mission

Our priority is to act today to sustainably protect the building, focusing our efforts on the maintenance of its structure and its roof. Preparing for these necessary works will ensure that this precious witness of our history safely passes to the generations to come.

Our project is divided into two major actions.

• The weatherproofing and maintenance of the building: Ensuring the sustainability of the roof and walls to prevent any future degradation.
• The promotion of the interior heritage: Continuing the inventory, protection, and restoration of the church’s historic furniture.

The association is driven by a passionate local team.
